Ariel is a customised genuine Takara Neo Blythe. Base doll Disco Boogie from 2003 (EBL). She has an Obitsu 22 body with strengthened joints and neck.

I have carved and painted her features but preserved the original Disco Boogie blue eyeshadow. She isn't boggled as I wanted that dreamy retro look. I've given her new glass eye chips by Puppelina.

She wears a mohair wig which I made for her. It's made with waterproof glue so can be dampened and combed through to reset the waves. It is attached to her bare scalp with a little poster tack so can easily be removed.

She will travel in the dress in the photos which I made specially for her.

All customisation is done by hand which means every doll I create is unique and not 'factory perfect'.
